Bio
Meet Summer, one of our amazing Speech-Language Pathologists, who joined the PAC
team in November!
Summer brings a rich and unique background to our clinic. She earned her BA in Music in
2002 and her MS in Communicative Disorders from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in
2007. Before joining us, she spent most of her career serving adult and geriatric populations
across home health, inpatient rehab, and skilled nursing settings.
Even though she’s new to pediatrics, Summer is certainly not new to working with kids! She
leads children’s choirs at a local cathedral and loves weaving her passion for music into the
therapeutic setting. She’s dedicated to helping her clients grow in functional communication,
confidence, and independence; and we’re so lucky to have her doing that here at the PAC!
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll probably find her singing, playing Mahjong, traveling, or
doting on her adorable dachshund, Oliver.
