To better serve our families, we collaborate closely with a network of local psychologists who accept various insurance plans, including Medicaid.

Our team actively assists in managing referrals to these providers, helping expedite the testing process for children in need of immediate care.

For families seeking quicker access to services, PAC also offers in-house psychological testing.

Information: Psychological Services

To begin the process for psychological testing at the Pediatrics and Autism Center (PAC), families can request a referral from their child’s primary care physician, pediatrician, or specialist. The referral should include the reason for testing (such as concerns about autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or behavioral issues) and a prescription or letter recommending a psychological evaluation. Once the referral is obtained, it can be submitted directly to our Referrals and Intakes Department, along with a copy of the child’s insurance card (if applicable).

Our team will review the information, determine the best placement—either with our in-house psychologist or a trusted local provider who accepts insurance—and contact the family to discuss the next steps and scheduling options. Families can also reach out to PAC directly with any questions or for assistance with obtaining the necessary referral documents.

Information: Counseling Services

In addition to psychological testing services, the Pediatrics and Autism Center (PAC) also provides referrals to trusted local counselors and mental health providers. Whether your child is experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, family transitions, grief, or difficulty coping with daily stressors, our team can help connect you with licensed professionals who specialize in working with children and adolescents. We maintain a network of counselors who offer a range of therapeutic approaches and accept various insurance plans, including Medicaid.

Our goal is to ensure every family has access to the mental health support they need. If you’re unsure where to start, PAC is here to guide you through the referral process.
