AJ Menard
Bio
A.J. Menard is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and serves as the Clinical Director of the Monroe clinic. Originally from West Monroe, Louisiana, A.J. has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for 9 years. She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2017 and became board certified shortly after.
In her role as Clinical Director, A.J. oversees all ABA staff at the Monroe location, ensuring smooth clinic operations and fostering a collaborative, supportive work environment. As a BCBA, she conducts initial assessments, re-evaluations, and develops individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs. She also provides ongoing supervision to technicians to ensure high-quality, ethical care.
A.J. is known for her ability to create a fun and engaging atmosphere during sessions, often connecting with children through play, laughter, and genuine interactions. She is passionate about making therapy meaningful and enjoyable for every child she works with.
Outside of work, A.J. is deeply rooted in her faith and looks to the Lord daily to guide her steps. She has been married to her husband—her best friend and biggest supporter—for 15 years. They’ve been together since she was 15 years old and continue to do everything side by side. They love traveling together, spending time at the beach, and taking family vacations in their camper. A.J. cherishes time with her daughter, especially watching her cheer, and enjoys relaxing weekends on the golf course with her husband. They share their home with their beloved dog, Khaleesi.
A favorite verse that inspires A.J. both personally and professionally is:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
