Maddie Gallagher
Bio
Maddie Gallagher is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and serves as the Co-Director of Behavior Analytical Services at the Pediatrics and Autism Center. With more than six years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Maddie brings a compassionate, creative, and deeply informed approach to her work with children and families.
Maddie’s journey into the world of behavioral health began early. Her father, a licensed psychologist specializing in forensic psychology in the state of Louisiana, exposed her to the intricacies and importance of mental health care from a young age. This lifelong immersion in the field fostered a strong sense of purpose and a deep understanding of the psychological needs of others. Beginning her career as a Line Technician, Maddie gained valuable hands-on experience working directly with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities.
She has since grown into a leadership role, where she now mentors a team of professionals and co-directs the design and implementation of individualized ABA therapy programs. Her leadership is marked by a strong commitment to evidence-based practices, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a genuine passion for helping children thrive.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Maddie is a gifted artist and multimedia creator. She integrates her creative talents into her therapeutic work by developing engaging educational materials and child-friendly content that enhance learning and make therapy enjoyable. Her unique ability to blend science with art allows her to reach children in ways that are both meaningful and impactful.
Maddie is particularly passionate about increasing accessibility to high-quality ABA services in underserved communities and continues to advocate for ethical, inclusive, and person-centered care. She is known for her warmth, innovation, and unwavering dedication to the families she serves.
